Each ribbon being unique the color appearance is always different. It is dyed using a special machine and no two ribbons are exactly the same. There may be some uneven dyeing, this is completely normal for this manufacturing process.
The material is rayon, so the the ribbon are made longer than regulation to lessen concerns over shrinkage due to humidity.
Do not iron the FIG logo.
Do not cut or wash colored ribbon.
It is not necessary to per-wash the ribbon.
